Jamia Islamia Ghousia Trust
Jamia Islamia Ghousia Trust was established in 1986 under the guidance of Allama Qazi Abdul Aziz Chishti. Allama Sahib is known throughout the UK for his orating and forward thinking approach.
The Jamia was one of the first purpose built Dar Ul Uloom’s in Europe. Its foundation stone was laid on the 18th February 1987.
Since 1987 Jamia has gone through many phases and Alhamdulillah it now encompasses a Masjid, Dar Ul Uloom, Muslim Funeral Service, Independent Primary School and Nursery.
The Jamia is known throughout the world for its Religious events and Retreats. Its events are regularly televised on satellite TV and are watched by many all over the world.
Dar Ul Uloom has been running since 1987 and has taught thousands of children the Holy Quran.
Islamic Nikkah and Marriage registry services both available at the Jamia according to British law.
Established in 2005 by Allama Chishti Sahib after he felt the need For Muslim funeral service.
Mehria Wonderland was established in 2011 and is now in its third successful year.
Mehria Primary School
Mehria Primary School was established in 2006. Alhamdulillah it started with a small number of students and now has over fifty full time students.
Mehria Primary School is governed and checked by OFSTED on an annual basis. It teaches the national curriculum alongside Islamic studies.
With the blessing of Allah (swa), Mehria Primary School was awarded ‘Oustanding’ from OFSTED in 2012. It is one of a handful of primary schools in Bedfordshire with outstanding status. It is the ONLY independent Islamic school in the whole county with outstanding status.
Mehria Primary School prides itself on quality teaching in a safe Islamic environment. The School carries out enrolment of children throughout the year.
